I bought this for me to use, snoring contest btx me and the wife, so I would not have to always use the couch.Construction is great, easy to setup and take down. Only problem is the fabric will 'creak' as you move on the cot. It is at the points that the poles go through the fabric holder pockets. When it is setup and you lay on it, the tightness makes it creak. This can be a bit much when trying to drift off to sleep. I did find a way around this though. I had a piece of mattress foam topper that I put on top of the cot and used a Full sized mattress fitted sheet to hold in on the corners of the cot. With that on there, the foam helps with the noise by muffling the sound and giving the cot that needed padding. The cot is great, but not as comfy as they would lead you to believe. A little padding will make all the difference in sound and sleep.Enjoy.This cot is sturdy and easy to pop up and fold to put back in bag. It fits pretty good inside of a 4 person tent. We used it in the house as a extra lounger and for camping with the scouts. Very satisfied with this purchase.Only unboxed and took out of package to check the condition of everything. So far everything seems good. Will have a better review after using for camping this summer. Bought 2 one for the hubby and 1 for myself.I bought a different cot off of Amazon that was way too heavy and long for my 6 person tent, so I returned it. This one fit perfectly, is so lightweight, and very comfortable! I’m so glad I found this and can’t recommend it enough! This cot is easy to put up & take down. This is the first time I’ve used a cot while camping car camping obviously). I like the carrying case- it’s like carrying a giant bag chair- very easy. I slept fairly well- we only camped 2 nights & I usually don’t sleep great my first couple nights- but I don’t think I slept any worse due to the cot. I put my sleeping bag on the cot and slept in it. Was able to shift positions easily. I’m a side-sleeper so it worked well. One thing that was great is that it POURED RAIN one night and I didn’t even think twice about keeping dry under my sleeping bag because I was off the ground. I also like the little pouch on the side to stash my keys and glasses. There’s a little room (but not much) under the cot to stash stuff. I weigh~160 and am 5’4” and I felt very supported by this cot. My only wish is that it wasn’t quite as high off the ground. It was not comfortable to get off the cot from a sitting position. Maybe 3 inches less high.Spent 10 nights sleeping on cot need to use a sleeping pad but I’m 49 works good better than the groundI bought one of these, and it is exactly as described. Very sturdy, easy to set up, and easy to fold back down. I have no complaint with the cot itself. All of my problems are with the user (me). If you are under 300 pounds, it will hold you just fine. BUT (and as Pee Wee Herman used to say, everybody has a big "but"), if you are that heavy and you have trouble with your knees, then you may find this a real challenge to get out of. I know that I do. The steel construction may be at a comfortable height, but your rear end will sink several inches lower, and I know that the steel cut a bit into the back of my knees. It was very difficult to get out of. At this point, it would actually be easier for me to just sleep on the ground. I think my solution might be to use it with a five or six inch thick foam pad. I think that's the only way I'll ever be able to use the cot on a camping trip. TIP: When this arrived in the mail, I set it up on my patio. Big mistake. Since you have to turn the cot upside down in order to straighten it out, the outer edges of the cot wore on the cement of the patio. I was hoping that it wouldn't do any more than scuff it, but it was enough to start fraying the material apart. The cot is 18" at the tip of the headrest but the cot itself, where you are lying down, is 14" high. Barely higher than the one I gave away in order to purchase something easier to get up from.
