Purchased for group camps and festival use so the pros and cons listed are based on expectations of using this tent in those settings. I had some up-front concerns, but I wanted so much to like this tent that for the price I decided to check it out. Warning – this is a long review but hopefully includes helpful information.Pros:- let's be honest, this tent just looks cool, love the conical shape and the use of vertical space. Lots of opportunities to decorate and individualize your “space” with the unique design.- flexible vestibule options create an open space for use during the day, even providing some limited shade.- tent and all materials fit neatly into a carrying case with handles that looks like it would stand up to being tossed around while packing or unpacking from a trip. The box my tent was shipped in was open on one end but the tent was secure and free from damage.- all flags, poles, accessories were included as listed on the website.- zippers were securely stitched at all points (this is a big plus, there is nothing worse than a tent with poor quality stitching around the zippers as these are one of the areas of the tent that get the most use)- interior seams at base and along edges of the tent were well sealed and appear as though they will hold up to moderate wear and tear (I highly recommend a quality footprint/ground cloth, not included)- for the price the tent is very affordable and *most* of the materials/construction were better than I expected.- even with poor instructions this tent is not too difficult to set up alone (if you are familiar with basics of pitching a tent). More importantly after a trial set up the tent was just as easy to re-pack.Cons (not many but for my desired use enough of a concern):- Center pole stability is questionable, especially if the tent is not pitched on a perfectly flat, open area. I was expecting a better way of keeping the center pole in place where it sits on the bottom of the tent. The center pole does have a slightly wider base but there is no way to keep it from sliding around even though the area of material that it rests on is reinforced. This is potentially something that could be modified to help secure the pole at the base of the tent by creating a flat sleeve to hold the base more securely.- The guylines required to stabilize were more space consuming than I was expecting based on the photos and in a group camp present lots of trip hazards. (Think of the inevitable intoxicated neighboring camper stumbling around at 3AM…..) If the tent had better interior support this would be less of an issue.- even though there is a lot of vertical space the tent sides sag. It takes away from the internal space of the tent, and it just looks droopy.- while *most* of the materials were quality as expected for the price the ground stakes would be difficult to secure in anything but perfect ground conditions (rocky, sandy soil would be a tough job). The two main poles that hold the tent and fly up look like they will rust easily. While easy to assemble they are basically thin metal poles that slide together – if they get bent at any point it would be nearly impossible to replace or fix the damaged section.General opinion: Overall this is a cool tent at a decent price depending on what you are looking for. My background includes a couple decades of experience with everything from all season ultra-light solo tents in wilderness conditions to multi-room tents in park environments so there are MANY different things I consider deciding on the right tent for the setting. Sadly this tent simply does not have very good structural support and would benefit from a re-design for more structural integrity. The fabric/mesh/zippers were better quality than I was expecting for the price. For the reviewers complaining that this tent was freezing cold in winter weather - read the description - this is NOT an all-season tent. Yes, it will probably handle rain, moderate wind and some un-planned for snow but if those are normal conditions this is not the tent for you.I set up the tent in my yard hoping it could be a nice shaded space for my toddlers to play; they absolutely love it. I love how easy it was to setup, I love how cute it is. But what I don’t love is how stifling hot it gets in there! Its 79 degrees out with a light breeze today, totally gorgeous weather but since the tent doesn’t have good airflow—it feels like a sauna in there. I brought in a fan to help circulate the air, and it helped, but it still feels like it’s 8-10 degrees hotter in the tent than outside of it. I’m very much looking forward to bringing this tent back out during the cooler dry fall days when I think it’ll do well protecting us from the breeze and keeping us comfortably playing outside.Long story short- I love this tent, but I don’t recommend it for use during hot days.I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this gem was to set up.It is spacious and uniquely designed, needing only one pole. This was a camping trip of 5 senior ladies. I took my new tent, they slept in an rv. At 75, and a native Northern Californian, I've had my share of camping in the Redwoods in my VW campers, and remain a tent camper. Now living in Florida, the summers are loaded with mosquitoes and heavy rains in the afternoons. This wonderful tent keep me and my supplies dry. I kept both tents set up, but looking forward to drier weather to test out the screened tent only.p.s. yes the instructions are good to start the fire ?.Disappointed that we did not get the red and black like we ordered, but all black (like a giant witches hat!) We took it camping this weekend and it’s okay. I’m going to have to make tripod frame for it because the center pole eats valuable space. We also did not like that the screen does not hook onto the fly which makes it a bit droopy inside the tent and you can’t get the mesh fully taught because it’s attached to the floor which has zero stretch. If the screen could be stretched out the same way the fly does, it would open the space much more. This is NOT a tent for tall (5’10” and above) people. For shorties like me at 5’4”, it’s fine. All in all, it’s okay. I would not want to use this for high winds, wet or cold weather. For a fun backyard tent, it’s quite adequate.Wind and rain came up and I was dry and no problem with the wind that came up. I was able to unzip the front no bugs! And watched the shooting stars before the storm.I bought this tent so I could have something a little more medieval looking for the medieval recreations that I participate in. It's a great tent and blends in with the medieval canvas and wood tents great. Once I figured out how to set it up, it was really easy to setup and take down. Therein lies the problem, the included instructions show you generally how to setup the tent, and most of it is pretty self-explanatory, but there are no instructions on how to put the cap on it or put the flap up. I found someone with the same tent to tell me how to put the cap on, but I still haven't figured out how to put the flap up.That being said, I love this tent. I'm 5'1" and I can put it up by myself in 5-10 minutes. It's withstood rain and heavy winds with no issues at all. A huge bonus is that the design of the tent allow you to easily roll it up without air getting stuck inside, so it actually fits back in the bag it came with.I have had this tent set up for over a month and it is handling the elements so well. Originally purchased so my grandkids could have a playscape outdoors, but I love having it to retreat to to read, think, relax!Compramos esta tienda para ir a acampar a la playa. Y es muy amplia por dentro, Somos dos adultos y 2 dos adolescentes, y podría haber entrado otro adulto. Muy fácil de colocar y el diseño es muy bonito. Fácil de limpiar y no ocupa mucho espacio para guardar.Coup de coeur je l'adore! Facile à monté en quelques minutes avec une logique car les instructions sont en chinoisSe le mete al agua aún cerrada
