I bought this 2 man tent to put in my yard so that a wild kitty could have some shelter and we could bond . Wasn’t able to bring in right away. Super easy to put together . It never leaked snd we camped in it straight for about 5 months. I put a tv and heat pad in for me and the kitty. We camped out in the winter. Stayed dry. It was a great place for us to bond and stay warm while I made a place for him inside. Great little tent!!I spent a week camping in Michigan back in June. Before taking it out, I treated it with spray waterproofing. It held up great when a big storm rolled in. I found the construction of the tent to be a bit sloppy (fabric falling off seams) which leads me to believe this isn't something that will last if you're hiking and setting up and tearing down frequently (damn shame too because it's very light), but if you are looking to set up once and stay a while, I think you could get a decent amount of use out of it.Tent is ok. There was initial smell but seemed to have aired out. I really like the green color of the tent and it has the right size for 1 person, not too small. There was some stitching that was imperfect but nothing drastic. I have not tested it in the rain, I had bought it to use as a backup tent on long camping expeditions, mostly, as this size allows me to setup tent where there's only a small flat area available, so I can't comment on using it for long backpacking trips. Green color provides stealth and nicely blends with green vegetation, it's also pleasant to be inside a green tent as the light in such feels natural, versus typical bright unnatural neon colored tents. We got the 3 person. It's perfect for 2 people and a dog. 6 lbs, folds up really small, expandable stuff sack. Great design, the poles are clips only, no sleeves, which makes it so the full rain fly doesn't touch the tent. We've camped in rain and at the beach and haven't had any issues with condensation at all. It's warm! We camped in temps as low as 34 degrees at night and stayed warm (with the right sleeping bags).I like that it has fabric on the bottom part of the tent, instead of full screen so my dog doesn't claw at door in the morning and rip the netting. There's a hook on the top for hanging a light or Kindle and 2 pouches, one on each side, where you can either put stuff or stuff the doors into when unzipped fully. I love that the doors zip all the way open as opposed to tents that only zip around the top and sides of the door, which is super annoying. The bigger vestibule is spacious. I love that it turns into an awning with hiking poles. It gives it more of a homey feeling and an escape from the sun. Super easy setup. Cute color. We use this tent a lot.The only issue we've had is that the stitching on the awning went over the zipper in a few spots, so we had to cut it and I expect that will cause issues down the road. Also, the rain fly ripped in one spot, so be careful when you stake it out, don't pull too tight.Overall, we absolutely love this tent. It's our new go-to. Buy it and go have fun!!Started back packing this yearCompared to a regular big box tent, this thing is a feather.I'm 6"2 and had plenty of room with my dog and bag. You could probably fit two people and gear, but you have to be ready for some closeness.Dead simple to assemble and durable enough to withstand a spastic border collie who wasn't done after 15 miles and pawed at the door once or twice (I did trim his nails before the trip, but not crazy short)No strange odors once opened, no damaged parts. Ive know you can get lighter, more durable tents. But to start with. This thing is top notchI purchased this product as it appeared to fit the bill for some of my geology field work. As a student, we take trips that last a week each semester as well as some classes require additional camping field trips. We went to Death Valley in the final week of February. The first four days that tent was a champ. I was so excited it looked and worked like some of the marmot tents and big Agnes tents that others had spent hundreds on for the trip. Come day five and the weather shifted with excessive winds and a sandstorm. The stakes held, but the poles could not handle the high winds, snapping them in multiple places and destroying the rain fly. I ended up clearing my gear out of it as it started to rain (yes, rain in Death Valley, it snowed on day six) and spent the last two nights sleeping in the bed of one of our trucks.I’d suggest this to anyone who plans on camping sporadically and doesn’t plan to put it through the level of use that a geologist would. If you want something that comes with piece of mind, buy North Face or Big Agnes. They cost a massive amount more, but they hold up. Other campers that had the space adjacent to us took a video of the storm on our little tent city; what was unique was the North Face tent appeared as if there was no wind and the Big Agnes held its shape to the point of pulling stakes before having any issues.I hope this helps those who are considering buying this tent. It is very lightweight and could easily attach to a pack for backpacking, but be warned, it may not handle high winds that frequent mountainous areas. On the other hand, it feels roomy and retains the body heat well. I slept comfortably even on nights that others claimed were cold.
